before you read... three weeks after my whim of making an animation popped up, what initially has been in my mind is now to be on your screen, Ladies and Gentlemen May I introduce my original animation I'm TOMATO. well, well, the storyline is simple, even a little bit morbid, story that you might not bother reading but is possible to be dug deep for wisdom of life. Some of my buddies previewed the animation, and very a few of them are engaged in the animation-making in one way or another,they're supportive and their feedback is what makes the film not so bad. By any standard animation production is a time-consuming task, one that also requires much cooperation, though for I'M TOMATO, nearly all of its technical works were done independently by myself, the inspiration cannot be nevertheless worked out by a single mind. So my first dedication goes to Renee, the girl dubbing the animation and whose voice is heavenly cute, she also sung for the Kiss-scenario, but what she should be thanked most is that she always serves as a source of endless inspiration for me, whether in movie-making, or in life. I'm also thankful to my long-time travel pal whose presentation in class last month helps discovering my inner itch for directing and producing film. We two worked out the first film in our life and we saw classmates laughing off their heads while the film is presented. making the reality motion pictures, putting story into cartoons is, just as mentioned, hellishly time-consuming, but a labor of love I must say. Adding to the animation are classic masterpieces echoing through centuries, so lastly dedication to those greatest composers in history --- Schbbert Franz, Schumann Robert and Mozart, Wolfgang Amadrus. All scenes in the animation were set in my university and the surrounding, my friend contributed pictures of winter scenario. The production is done on Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Flash firstly and later edited on Adobe Premiere, the bus you would see in first a few seconds is typical London Bus which I downloaded and brushed with new logo and slogan specially designed for my city -- Hangzhou. the characters TOMATO and BANANA are common pictures of this two fruits mixed with Photoshop filter.You would also notice that the film is dubbed in Korean which is by no mean any indication of my preference on Korean over my mother tongue, it is just because her voice is cutest while speaking Korean. As the animation is being produced, the catastrophic earthquake ravaged Southwest China, feared taking lives of more than 80000, the worst disaster in three decades. My heart and I also wish all of your heart and love could reach those suffering the quake, so I add donation advertisement at the very end of the film. To those in weep I would say entertainment is the best cure, living happily is relieve to your lost loved ones. God bless China and all of you!
